Middle School
August 5, 2018Our sixth and seventh grade students share a homeroom and are grouped together for most of their classes. History classes alternate between American History and World History or World Geography. Bible courses include a survey of Old and New Testament one year and a course focusing on Proverbs (Wise Up) in the alternate year. Science courses alternate between a life science course and one course in General Science or Earth and Space Science. Language courses include a literature course each year and a course that emphasizes language structure and writing. Math levels are assigned according to competence. It is possible for them to take foundational math, pre-algebra, or Algebra I. We also want them to learn keyboarding and basic word processing before they reach high school as well as to get a taste of extracurricular subjects including art, choir, or foreign language.
