Our kindergarteners were impressed with the instrument that young Japanese students learn to play when they first go to school. What a blessed community we are to have so many internationals to add flavor and dimension to our area. We so appreciated those who took the time to come to Covenant Academy and help our students understand a little bit about their cultures. The International Fair was just outstanding!

Calling all MCA supporters!!! Help us make money for our school this year by enrolling in the scrip program. It won’t cost you a dime, only a little bit of time and a modicum of preparation. Send in orders on Monday or Tuesday; get your gift cards on Friday for Food City, Walmart, restaurants in town, etc. The school gets a percentage of all you purchase. You’re spending the money anyway; help us out by making us the middle man before you purchase. We are asking every family and friend of the school to get on board with this program. Click on the link for the scrip program for more details or call the office and talk to Mrs. Patterson.
Seniors were thrilled and excited to be able to travel to Europe during spring break this year. They visited sites in Germany, Switzerland, and Italy and were able to make lasting memories as they explored places they had never been before. This was a fantastic opportunity for our students to learn first hand about some of the historical sites they visited. All of them were impacted by the beauty and sense of history in the European countries through which they journeyed. Thanks to everyone who supported them as they raised money to prepare for this trip. It really was the chance of a lifetime.
With the creation of a new upper elementary classroom, we have added a brand new staff member. Mr. Wayne Smith comes to us with many years experience in the public school system. His unique sense of humor and peaceful demeanor make him a perfect choice to instruct and guide our fifth and sixth grade students. They love him already!
Go, Fifth and Sixth Graders! Make your classroom the best in the school and your teacher the proudest staff member at MCA. We are expecting marvelous accomplishments from all of you this year.
